Thursday July 9th - Monday 13th, 2026

From 10–12 July 2026, over 3,800 young people aged 4 to 18 from across Leeds, Wakefield and beyond - will come together for Challenge 26, a county-wide Scout camp packed with adventure, learning, and community spirit.

To make this incredible event happen, we need an amazing team of volunteers – the Challenge Crew. Whether you’re helping with activities, supporting logistics, or keeping the camp running smoothly, you’ll play a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience for thousands of young people.

Challenge Crew is open to everyone*

Members of local Scout Groups

Volunteers from outside counties

People not currently attached to a Scout Group

If you’re passionate about Scouting and want to be part of something amazing, this is your chance!

*Requires valid DBS, Safety and Safeguarding learning modules to able to stay overnight
